  4. 1. The program crashes after the initial "ENGLISH/GERMAN" question
  5.  
  6.   Please delete the file EISA.CFG.
  7.  
  8. 2. The program crashes when invoking "Setup" or endlessly displays
  9.    a "Please wait..." window
  10.  
  11.   Invoke the program using the "-NOROMJUMPS" parameter. This parameter
  12.   turns off some setup entries - the program displays "? -> XXXX" instead
  13.   of the current setting, where XXXX is a jump address into the BIOS. If
  14.   any jump address does not point to code, AMIsetup will crash.
  15.  
  16.   To use all setup entries, you have to create a Bios image file.
  17.   >> You must disable "System ROM Shadow" for a working BIOS image!
  18.   The "System ROM shadow" option can be found under the following different
  19.   names:

  21.     "Shadow RAM Option"          None
  22.  
  23.     "System ROM Shadow"          Disabled
  24.  
  25.     "ROM BIOS Shadow"            Disabled
  26.  
  27.     "F000 Shadow RAM"            Disabled
  28.  
  29.     "Segment F Shadow RAM"       Disabled
  30.  
  31.     "Disable Shadow Memory Size" 384 KB
  32.     "Disable Shadow Memory Base" 640 KB

  34.   After creating the BIOS.DAT file, you can (and should) re-enable the
  35.   BIOS shadow.

  37.   With some BIOS revisions, these instructions still won't create a
  38.   useable BIOS.DAT. Sometimes, a flash BIOS upgrade will lead to success.

  40.   If you don't succeed in creating a valid BIOS.DAT, please contact the
  41.   author. You can obtain a modified, working BIOS.DAT for the Intel Plato
  42.   chipset (ID string "PCI82430"); electronic mail is preferred.
  43.   If you send a flash BIOS upgrade file for your chipset, the author might
  44.   be able to create BIOS.DAT out of the flash upgrade (using the GetBIOS
  45.   tool, which is still under development).
